Site visit Janssen Vaccines

Site visit, 30 June 2017 11.30 - 12.45 hours

About Janssen Vaccines
Vaccination is one of the most effective methods of preventing infectious diseases saving 2-3 million lives annually. However, some of the world’s most life-threatening infectious diseases continue to spread. Therefore Janssen Vaccines is dedicated to advancing human health by developing innovative vaccines against pathogens such as Ebola, RSV, HIV, ExPEC and polio.

We have a promising research and development pipeline. This is due to our innovative technologies, ongoing collaborations with key stakeholders and world-class team. In Leiden we have a workforce of 700 scientists and support staff of which around 35% have a PhD degree. 45% of our employees have a nationality other than Dutch with over 20 nationalities represented.

About the site visit
The visit will start with a general introduction on Janssen Vaccines. Later, the participants will be divided into smaller groups for ‘group speed dates’ and an optional lab tour. During the speed dates you will have the opportunity to meet a number of our colleagues working in varied functions ranging from early discovery to late development in R&D, but also from supply chain and commercial.
